Devco Process Heaters

KINEFLO HEATERS WITH STATE-OF-THE- ART LOW EMISSIONS AND EFFICIENCY UP TO 90 %

The Devco KINEFLO heater is a convective heater designed with a controlled separate heat transfer section bringing a unique solution to sensitive heating applications. The Devco KINEFLO heater design eliminates the conventional radiant heat transfer section. Result is the process fluid is primarily heated by safe forced convection. This is achieved with separate partitioned combustion and heat exchange sections, designed for optimum heat transfer control. Radiant heat transfer is virtually eliminated by quenching the combustion products to a maximum 1600 deg F. prior to entering the heat exchange section. Devco KINEFLO heaters range from 0.5 to 100.0 MMBtu/Hr.

SAFETY

The separate combustion and heat exchange sections eliminates process coil flame impingement.
Combustion product’s quenching eliminates process fluid thermodegradation and scaling.

Options are available to provide your Devco KINEFLO convective heater with state-of-the-art low emission combustion systems to meet today’s environmentally friendly requirements.

TURNDOWN

The standard automated forced draft burner system has a 10:1 turndown ratio. Options to increase the turndown ratio are available.

EFFICIENCY

Basic Devco KINEFLO convective heaters are designed with 70-80 % net thermal efficiency (NTE).
Options to increase the NTE to 90 % are available.

INSTALLATION

Low onsite installation cost.
The Devco KINEFLO heater comes completely assembled with burner, fuel train and BMS .
Reassembly at site involves only nuts, bolts, and gaskets. NO onsite welding or special tools are required.

INSTRUMENTATION

The basic Devco KINEFLO heater includes our standard PLC burner management system ( BMS ). Options are available to provide a customized state-of-the-art BMS to meet any specification (e.g. IRI , NFPA, BASEEFA, and ATEX) and your specific information requirements.
